I hope, somewhere out there, other young children whose parents inspired them are just now exploring their creative energies.
When I was teaching I ran across a few of these children, and some of my fellow teachers did their best to shut them down out of the mistaken belief they were subversive, ADHD, or otherwise not suited to be model students. I often pointed out that these students might, perhaps, simply be brighter than their teachers, and the response was, shall I say, less than warm.
To those children, or young adults, my I offer words of encouragement:
Keep reading, keep creating. Your creative endeavors have value and somewhere you will find an audience.
