I suspect their experience might have been more comfortable at an Episcopal or even Methodist or Presbyterian service, although the music might have been more traditional. Even the large mega churches are easier for hiding in the back and just observing, which as a Baptist Minister’s son is my preferred mode. Theirs reminds me of my visit to a small Pentecostal church where I was the only non-member, but sat through a thirty minute Invitational while they implored unbelievers (i.e., me) to come to Jesus.
