Nietzche never caught my interest. I’ve tried but I haven’t been able to get past the first few chapters. I’ve also read a number of articles discussing Nietzche and I find those discussions fascinating. His ideas interest me, his writing doesn’t.

It is clear to me that he may be the most misquoted and misunderstood philosopher of his period, much as would happen with Derrida in the U.S. His sister and Wagner seemed to have deliberately promoted his work while shrouding it in German nationaism and anti-sematism that he never embraced.
