I also wish more developers would consider modular subscription pricing. For instance, if I don’t want custom templates, I wouldn’t pay.

That being said, for an app I use and love, like Ulysses (which I use more than Scrivener and Word), I think it’s a great idea. For an app I haven’t tried, I wouldn’t try it it if I had to pay a subscription.

(PS: The Mac version freezes for several seconds when I return to the window from using another app.)
